24/7 Emergency Services

Job completed for Independent Living

Completion date: March 11, 2024

Location: Burlington, NJ

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer contacted us for emergency bathroom sanitisation, Category 3 blackwater decontamination, and biohazard remediation following a severe commercial sewer overflow. Grossly contaminated wastewater and sewage residues had backed up through the toilet fixture and floor drains, spreading bacteria-laden blackwater, organic waste, and foul odours across the tiled floor and lower wall perimeters.

Solutions provided:

We executed an immediate sewage biohazard extraction, surface pressure washing, and deep sanitisation protocol. Outfitted in full personal protective equipment (PPE), our technicians extracted remaining wastewater and power-washed the floor tile and floor drain assemblies to remove ground-in sewage residues and organic debris. We applied an EPA-registered hospital-grade broad-spectrum antimicrobial biocide across the commercial toilet fixture, stainless steel grab bars, wall tiles, and flooring to eradicate pathogens and bacteria. Finally, we deployed commercial HEPA air scrubbers alongside axial air movers to deodorise the space, filter airborne contaminants, and dry the tiled surfaces to certified sanitary standards.
