24/7 Emergency Services

Job completed for Robin's Nest Restaurant

Completion date: March 23, 2024

Location: Mount Holly, NJ

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer contacted us for emergency sewage extraction, Category 3 blackwater mitigation, and biohazard sanitisation after a sudden sewage backup and ejector pump failure flooded the basement. Grossly contaminated wastewater and organic waste had erupted from the drainage assembly, pooling extensively across the concrete storage and wine cellar floors while heavily splattering foundation walls, pipework, and structural ledges.

Solutions provided:

We executed an immediate Category 3 water mitigation, biohazard extraction, and deep sanitisation protocol. Outfitted in full personal protective equipment (PPE), our technicians utilised commercial truck-mounted extraction wands to remove standing blackwater and bulk solid waste from the concrete floor. We thoroughly pressure-washed and scrubbed the contaminated foundation ledges, plumbing lines, and concrete subfloors using an EPA-registered hospital-grade broad-spectrum antimicrobial disinfectant. Finally, we deployed commercial HEPA air scrubbers alongside high-capacity LGR dehumidifiers and axial air movers to capture airborne bio-contaminants, eliminate foul sewage odours, and dry the basement structure to certified sanitary standards.
