The customer contacted us for emergency water damage mitigation and leak inspection after an active plumbing failure occurred beneath the kitchen sink. Water leaking from the garbage disposal and sink supply lines pooled inside the base cabinet, migrated across the kitchen floor, and seeped through the subfloor into the basement utility area below, causing standing water across the painted concrete floor near the water heater.

We provided a comprehensive water extraction, structural drying, and sanitisation solution across both levels of the home. Our technicians extracted standing water from the basement concrete floor and cleared the affected kitchen sink cabinet base. We conducted moisture mapping across the kitchen subflooring, cabinetry, and basement ceiling joists to track the path of water migration. We then treated all damp wood framing, cabinet interiors, and concrete surfaces with an EPA-registered antimicrobial wash to prevent mold and bacterial growth. Finally, we deployed commercial centrifugal air movers and high-capacity LGR dehumidifiers to thoroughly dry the kitchen cabinetry and basement utility space to safe moisture standards.
