Completion date: April 2, 2026
Location: Burlington, NJ
Why did the customer contact us?
The customer contacted us after discovering significant buckling and saturation of their hardwood flooring, which was accompanied by visible mold growth in the basement and high moisture readings throughout the wall structures.
Solutions provided:
Our restoration team immediately performed a comprehensive moisture mapping of the affected areas, utilizing professional-grade moisture meters to identify critical saturation levels reaching 99.4% within the wall assemblies. We conducted a detailed inspection of the basement joists to identify and assess the extent of the white mold colonization on the timber framing. To mitigate further structural loss and health risks, we initiated a plan for controlled demolition of the non-salvageable hardwood flooring and the implementation of a high-capacity drying and antimicrobial treatment protocol for the exposed framing and basement ceiling.
