24/7 Emergency Services

Job completed for Jennifer B

Completion date: March 18, 2026

Location: Lumberton Township, NJ

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer required professional remediation and deep cleaning following a smoke or soot contamination event in an upstairs bedroom. The loss necessitated the removal of floor coverings to inspect the subfloor for odors and staining, as well as a comprehensive top-down cleaning of all structural surfaces and fixtures to remove fine particulate matter.

Solutions provided:

Our team performed a full structural soot and odor remediation service. Removed all carpeting and padding to expose the plywood subfloor. We protected remaining furniture and mattresses using professional-grade plastic wrap and established containment zones. Executed a top-down cleaning protocol, utilizing specialized chemical sponges and extension poles to remove soot from vaulted ceilings and walls. Performed a meticulous hand-cleaning of delicate fixtures, including ceiling fan blades and motors, using microfiber cloths and degreasing agents to ensure no residue remained. Inspected the exposed subfloor for moisture or soot penetration and performed HEPA vacuuming to prepare the surface for potential sealing or new flooring installation.
